What is the difference between HTM and HTML extensions on web pages?
A question often asked, thus an answer to provide.
The obvious answer is in the spelling. There is an L or lack thereof. Other than that small difference, the two documents types are exactly the same. Both types may be used the same (on most host servers) and both will be rendered the same in browsers.
There is one area of concern though, most host servers will require your default starting page to be named as "index.html" and not as "index.htm". Although that will also vary depending on your host and their setup.
As conclusion, there is no difference between HTM and HTML except for one letter.

Programmer's day is a "holiday" on the 256th day of the year celebrated mostly by computer programmers (reason: 256 = 2 to the power of 8 = the number of values representable in a byte of data). Traditions include drinking, behaving silly, coding silly programs, mini computer games, playing with old computers, etc. Programmer's day usually falls on September 13th; on leap years, it is September 12th. - Wikipedia

Sharing a bed with someone could temporarily reduce your brain power - at least if you are a man - Austrian scientists suggest.
When men spend the night with a bed mate their sleep is disturbed, whether they make love or not, and this impairs their mental ability the next day.
The lack of sleep also increases a man's stress hormone levels.
According to the New Scientist study, women who share a bed fare better because they sleep more deeply.

Cyclists who wear protective helmets are more likely to be knocked down by passing vehicles, new research from Bath University suggests.
The study found drivers tend to pass closer when overtaking cyclists wearing helmets than those who are bare-headed.
Dr Ian Walker was struck by a bus and a lorry during the experiment. He was wearing a helmet both times.
But the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents said tests have shown helmets protect against injuries.

Bill Gates is one of the people with Firefox on his computer, so the editor asked him for his opinion.
"I played around with it a bit, but it's just another browser, and IE [Microsoft's Internet Explorer] is better," Mr Gates told Tim Weber, and challenged his assertion that Firefox's 'market share' is growing rapidly.
"So much software gets downloaded all the time, but do people actually use it?" he argued.

4D Prince of Persia is a solid unofficial version of Jordan Mechner's classic action/adventure that starts off the same as the original version but will stump even action veterans with devious level design and tougher enemies in the later stages.
For the uninitiated: Prince of Persia was a smash hit when it was released in 1990, and is today still regarded as one of the best games ever made. The combination of fluid, lifelike animations, great Arabian-Night storyline, and devious physical traps and puzzles made it a revolutionary game for the time, and very challenging even to expert gamers.
The tortuous difficulty level of this fanmade version makes it a perfect game for those who finished the original game and are looking for a real challenge to save the princess.

Scientists claim that listening to rock music can boost your brain power. Researchers at a Scottish university believe that the sound of guitar-based rock such as Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC and the Red Hot Chili Peppers improves concentration and boosts memory.
Contrary to received wisdom, children who listen to loud rock or pop music while swotting for exams are probably improving their chances of success.
The finding follows claims that listening to classical music, particularly Mozart, can improve performance in cognitive tests.

Google Image Labeler is a new feature of Google Image Search that allows you to label random images to help improve the quality of Google's image search results.
How does it work?
You'll be randomly paired with a partner who's online and using the feature. Over a 90-second period, you and your partner will be shown the same set of images and asked to provide as many labels as possible to describe each image you see. When your label matches your partner's label, you'll earn some points and move on to the next image until time runs out. After time expires, you can explore the images you've seen and the websites where those images were found. And we'll show you the points you've earned throughout the session.
